Trout River Environmental Committee works to restore and conserve the natural integrity of our nine watersheds, and to promote good environmental stewardship. We operate in the Stanley Bridge to Cavendish area of North Central Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Founded in 1993, TREC was incorporated in 1999. Currently, TREC undertakes a range of activities including integrated watershed management, community engagement, and environmental education. TREC is very much a community led group, and we support local farmers, landowners, residents, businesses, and fishers.
