On Wednesday May 15th, the Don’t Frack PEI committee met first with PEI Minister of Environment Janice Sherry, then with three MPs – Kirsty Duncan, Liberal environment critic; Sean Casey, MP for Charlottetown; and Wayne Easter, MP for Malpeque. We explained the concerns that we all have about fracking, listened to their views, and discussed next steps. Both meetings exceeded our expectations and have resulted in even more requests for meetings and presentations. The momentum has started, so please help us keep this issue in the forefront of people’s minds.
