We had a great meeting on January 22nd with a very good turn-out for the coldest night of the year so far. It was great to see in attendance representatives from the fishing and agricultural communities as well as watershed groups, unions, social and environmental justice groups and of course individual citizens who want to protect PEI’s land, water, and air.

For those who could not make it – we now have an official anti-fracking group on PEI. The name is “Don’t Frack PEI” with a tagline ”Wind, Water, Sun – Energy for the Long Run.” Details of our group can be found on our ‘about’ page.
